Coalition to Assist Victims of OxyContin Launches Website
Washington, DC The Coalition to Assist Victims of OxyContin launched their website today, www.oxyconned.org. The site is a portal for victim's stories on how their lives were affected by the over-marketed drug, OxyContin.
Members of the Coalition to Assist Victims of OxyContin, have similar stories. They took this drug as prescribed and as directed by their physician and became addicted. Many of these Americans are individuals who have no criminal background and no history of drug or alcohol abuse. They are school board members, policemen, teachers, businessmen and soccer moms. They have suffered not only the physical and psychological ravages of severe addiction but, often as a consequence, have lost their spouses, children, homes, businesses, jobs and dignity, because of Purdue Pharma's misrepresentation and aggressive marketing of OxyContin.
Please visit the site for more information about OxyContin, Purdue Pharma, and to read victim's stories. Help us get the word out about the problems with this drug, prevent future addiction, and hold the correct people responsible for ruining innocent lives while making millions of dollars in doing so.
